The trailer for actor Arjun Das’s upcoming psychological crime thriller film John Doe was released recently and is going viral on social media with positive responses from audiences and critics.
Actor Arjun Das, who has been known for his stunning screen presence in films such as Kaithi and Pawan Kalyan’s OG, has for the last few years been acting only in lead roles and avoiding supporting artist and antagonist roles.
Shockingly, all his recent lead films ended up as failures and he has been striving to deliver a breakthrough as a lead.
However, after watching the trailer for John Doe, many viewers suggest that this film seems promising and believe that it will give Arjun Das the much-needed breakthrough by becoming his first blockbuster film.
Furthermore, they note that the trailer is gripping and promises a solid, mind-bending thriller. They claim that if director Madhumita Sundararaman delivers the film with a gripping screenplay, John Doe will be a sure shot success.
Also, they feel that thriller films usually work well for the Kollywood audience, especially because thriller films do not need star actors, as the content and screenplay are their crucial factors. Therefore, John Doe has a strong possibility of becoming a successful venture if the screenplay is solid.
Ultimately, with positive responses to the trailer, it remains to be seen whether John Doe will emerge as a blockbuster success, helping Arjun achieve his first hit as a lead actor upon its release on November 13th.
