The teaser and the trailer of Ram’s coming movie ‘Nenu Shailaja’ left only positive vibes on the movie. The title is also very catchy and grew on the audiences very soon than the previous working title ‘Hari Katha’. Initially, director Kishore wrote the story as ‘Hari Katha’ and told the same to Ram.

Ram explains why they changed the title. The actor didn’t like the title from the beginning. Moreover, they always kept it as working title. The film isn’t about the religious discourse ‘Harikatha’ but the story (katha) of Hari. When people didn’t get that right, they thought it apt to change the title and go for ‘Nenu Sailaja’.
When Ram signed three scripts at the same time, he wanted one to be a different one, away from commercial movies. And the third script was ‘Hari Katha’, which changed its title to ‘Nenu Sailaja’.
