Chhaava has turned out to be a massive blockbuster, racing towards 500 crores net at the box office. The film, depicting the valiant fight of Shambhaji Maharaj, has deeply resonated with the audience, particularly the Hindu community, who have embraced it as a powerful historical epic.
The performances of Vicky Kaushal, Vineet Kumar Singh, and Akshaye Khanna have been widely appreciated, taking the film to the next level. The dialogues in the movie have also received a great response.

Since its Hindi release on February 14, there has been a strong demand for a Telugu version, with fans and Hindu groups urging the makers on social media to release it in regional languages.
Now, Allu Aravind has stepped in to bring the film to Telugu audiences under the Geetha Arts banner. The Telugu version of Chhaava is set to release on March 7.

However, many believe the release has been delayed, as a large section of the audience has already watched it in Hindi, especially in metropolitan cities. Despite the late release, there are still regions, particularly small towns and rural areas, where Chhaava has yet to reach its full potential.
The biggest challenge for the Telugu version will be recreating the intensity of the original’s powerful dialogues, especially Vicky Kaushal and Vineet Kumar Singh’s lines in the climax. If the Telugu dialogues and dubbing fails to match the impact, Chhaava may not achieve the same success in the South.

With Allu Aravind’s backing, the film will get a wide release in single-screen theatres, helping it gain momentum in Telugu states. Since Chhaava’s content is gripping and doesn’t lag at any point, it is expected to perform well in Telugu as well.
However, had it been released simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu, the film could have already crossed ₹600 crore, according to trade experts.
