With the summer holidays coming to an end the collections of the films that have been running successfully so far too have come down. Well there were only two films really this summer that made the best use of the holidays and they were Allu Arjun starrer Race Gurram Akkineni family starrer Manam.
Among the two Race Gurram had enjoyed the best of summer with first release advantage but Manam despite releasing late in the summer did extremely well till the last Sunday making use of the holidays. On Monday after a long time there was significant drop in collections of Manam due to the reopening of schools for kids. However the trade still expects the film to maintain decent collections in the weekdays and grow big again on the weekends. Manam has done remarkable business for Akkineni’s getting figures never before heard for them. If the film continues its good run in the coming days it could further get to new benchmarks for the Akkineni family.
