Director SS Rajamouli’s son SS Karthikeya ventured into production with the movie Aakashavani. It is a small film but managed to get a huge buzz on the announcement due to his debut as a producer. Unfortunately, he has now moved out of the project.
Since the last few days, there has been buzz that SS Karthikeya has left Aakshavani. Today, an official confirmation has come from both parties, the director and the producer. It is these two who have developed creative differences.
In their official statement, Ashwin Gangaraju and SS Karthikeya has said that for the best interest of the movie and with a mutual understanding, they are parting ways. SS Karthikeya has another project to take care off.
The production baton has now been passed on to A Padmanabha Reddy of AU & I Studios Pvt. Ltd. Ashwin Gngaraju will continue to be the director of the movie.
Aakashavani was announced in November 2018 on the eve of the birthday of SS Karthikeya. It was to launch him (as a producer, Ashwin Gangaraju (as director) and Kaala Bhairava (as music director). The movie was to take off in early 2019 and release in the second half. It did not happen and one of them Kaala Bhaivara got the break as a musician with Mathu Vadalara.
