Dacoit vs Toxic: Why Adivi Sesh Not Scared of Yash?

Adivi Sesh Dacoit vs Yash Toxic clash

Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur’s action drama Dacoit has locked its new release date. The film was initially set for December 2025 but was postponed because Adivi Sesh suffered an injury. Dacoit will now arrive in cinemas on March 19, 2026.

On the same date, Yash’s Toxic is scheduled to release. This sets up a major box office clash. As the date falls around Ugadi, Gudi Padwa and Eid, both films may benefit from festive crowds. Despite the competition, Adivi Sesh appears calm and confident.

Adivi Sesh said he is not worried about sharing the date with Toxic. He noted that his career has grown with the support of audiences who appreciate good cinema. He also clarified his delay, saying he always takes time on projects and this time the injury required two to three months of rest from heavy action. He continues to recover.

Talking about the clash, Adivi Sesh pointed out that two films can succeed on the same day. He mentioned how Lagaan and Gadar worked together, and also reminded that Major released with Akshay Kumar’s Samrat Prithviraj and still performed well. He believes viewers choose quality and not competition hype. With Ugadi, Gudi Padwa and Eid in one week, he feels there is no reason to worry.

He also recalled how KGF Chapter 1 released alongside Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero and turned into a huge success even as the underdog. He said he still enjoys being the underdog and surprising audiences. The team did consider shifting dates but felt Ugadi would bring luck.

Adivi Sesh described Dacoit as both a true Hindi and true Telugu film. Every scene was shot separately in both languages. The makers adjusted dialogue, especially in comedy portions, to match tone and emotion naturally instead of sounding translated.

With confidence and a positive mindset, Adivi Sesh is ready to take on the festive window and stand next to Toxic. Fans are now eager to see how both films perform in March 2026.
