Kannada star hero Darshan, who is currently in Bengaluru’s Parappana Agrahara Jail for the Renukaswamy murder case, has run into fresh trouble. Reports say there was a recent clash between Darshan and other inmates, which led to tension near his barrack. Because of this, jail authorities deployed extra security.
Parappana Agrahara Jail has been in the news for many controversial reasons recently. Earlier, photos of Darshan drinking tea in a relaxed manner inside jail had gone viral, causing public criticism. Later, videos of another inmate using mobile phones and watching TV also leaked, prompting an NIA inquiry. Police now suspect that people close to Darshan may have leaked these visuals.
Other accused in the same case, including Anu Kumar, Jagga, Pradyush, and Lakshman, claim Darshan has been harassing them. One inmate reportedly asked jail officials to shift him to another prison because he feared staying near Darshan. Jail authorities are now closely monitoring Darshan’s barrack.
Meanwhile, Darshan’s upcoming film The Devil, which he completed before being sent back to jail, is scheduled to release on December 12.
