Veteran Filmmaker, Dasari Narayana Rao is admitted to KIMS Hospital, Hyderabad after he complained about a respiratory problem. The hospital authorities say they have put in the best doctors on him and he is currently doing well. The entire industry is worried about this news and is frantically enquiring about his health condition.

Dasari who was one of the top most directors during his prime is struggling out of the form in the recent years. He recently announced the plan to direct a film which is the biopic of recently demised Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, J Jayalalithaa. Amma is the title in consideration for this biopic film.
Dasari recently registered the title with Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce. It is known that Jayalalithaa was fondly called Puratchi Thalaivi Amma in Tamil Nadu. Interestingly, Dasari did not work with Jayalalithaa when she is in films but observed her career here closely. Dasari also maintained good relations with her even when she is in politics.
