A section of Hindi netizens are firing on Deepika over the newly released Besharam song from Pathaan. In the song, Deepika put on a glamour feast as she sports skimpy outfits and sets the dance floor on fire with her sizzling dance moves.
Netizens are now finding fault with one particular sequence in the film where Deepika is seen dancing in a saffron-colored outfit. This has sparked a controversy.
“Saffron is a holy color for the Hindus. It is disgusting to see Deepika Padukone abuse it by wearing a barely-there saffron dress and dance in a vulgar manner with a man almost double her age (SRK).” a netizen commented.
The fact that Deepika has sported a saffron colored bikini in this dance number has evidently not gone down well with a section of netizens. They are calling out Deepika and also the makers of the film over the same.
