Dev Kataa learnt lessons the hard way!

Film maker Dev Katta cannot be branded one amongst the crowd. His thought process is entirely different from other film makers in Tollywood. This is obvious in the dialogues he coins for his films. The lenghty but thoughful dialogues in ‘Prasthanam’ and ‘Autonagar Surya’ give us a peek into his understanding about the masses and his concern for uplifting the masses from graves to an entirely new world of classless society. Kudos Sir! But what went wrong with both the films which were targetted to reach masses?

After some introspection, Dev Katta seems to have caught the point behind the commercial failure of his movies. He now understands that there is no need to include forced comedy track to entertain audience or for pulling crowd to theatres. He observes that the forced comedy scenes in both his previous films acted as spoilers diluting the actual content and flavour of the film. Though he puts the blame on producers for those unnecessary additions, he has now resolved that they he wouldn’t repeat the mistake in his future projects. That means audience who like ‘Prastanam’ kind of films can expect a genuine product from Dev Katta hereafter, hopefully.
