With Devara being NTR’s immediate next film after RRR, there was the natural expectation on whether or not it would do well in Hindi. Going by the early numbers, Devara is indeed striking well here.
Thus far, Devara has collected around Rs 29 crore nett in the Hindi belt in the opening weekend. Sunday was the best day for the film at the box office as it collected Rs 12 crore nett in the Hindi belt.

Coming to the topic, the Rs 30 crore nett aspect of Devara’s Hindi run has propelled a talk of the coveted Rs 100 crore nett.
In the case of Pushpa 2, the film started off with just Rs 1 crore in Hindi on day 1 and ended up collecting Rs 100 crore in the full run. Coming to Devara, the early trend is far more positive.

However, the catch here is to pull the Hindi folk to theatres on the first Monday and subsequent working days. If the film can do in the range of Rs 4.5 crore nett on the first Monday, things look really solid.
If Devara can actually go reach the coveted Rs 100 core nett mark, then things look really positive for the film. It would greatly boos the global run of the film.

Also, it would mean that NTR made a fair bit of image in the Hindi belt thanks to RRR and this is exactly what NTR would be hoping for to expand his market.
