NTR’s Devara had its theatrical release on the 27th of this month and after a strong start at the global box office, it held reasonably well on its second day. The film witnessed dips from the day 1 collection but that is understandable given the mighty number of shows and ticket prices on day 1 in the domestic pockets.
In Nizam, the film has collected in the range of Rs 26 crore share which is a good number. The hold in Rayalaseema is pretty impressive and expectedly so given the mass nature of the film.

At the USA box office, the film has collected $4.2M thus far. There is a slight slowdown in the USA and other overseas belts and it has to be seen how it will hold up over the weekend.
In Hindi, after an impressive Rs 7.5 crore opening day, the film minted in upwards of Rs 8.75 crore. The upswing is a positive one.

Starting from Monday, there is a good chance that the Hindi version will be leading the Telugu version in the Telugu states. If the hold up is consolidated enough in the Hindi belt, then the film could be looking at a relatively big worldwide tally.
Coming to the Sunday trends thus far, the occupancies are said to be going great in the domestic circuit which is a good sign. Luckily for Devara, it has national holiday coming up on October 2nd which will help its cause all across India.
