If rumours are to be believed then actor Dhanush, the Kolaveri star, is likely to join co-star and friend R. Madhavan in ‘Tanu Weds Manu 2’, which is going to be directed by Aanand L Rai, who had directed the prequel as well Raanjhanaa with Dhanush. Of course, Dhanush, who is currently busy shooting for Shamitabh with Big B and Akshara Haasan, is yet to confirm dates for the project.
Apparently, a source close to Dhanush says that he was approached for the role by the director with dates. We’ll have to see if Dhanush will take out dates to team up with Aanand again and especially with Madhavan, with whom he will be seen for the first time. It will be an exciting combination to watch out for on screen.
In Tamil, Dhanush is waiting for the release of film Vella Illa Pattathari. Madhavan on the other hand, is making a comeback to the industry with a boxing-based film being directed by Maniratnam’s assistant Sudha Kongura.
