Dheeraj Mogilineni Takes an Indirect Dig at Naga Vamsi

Dheeraj Mogilineni on Summer Holidays release

For big films, a last-minute release date change may not be a major concern. But for small films, it can mean spending money they simply do not have.

Producer Dheeraj Mogilineni has taken an indirect dig at Naga Vamsi, highlighting how release date changes can put small producers under financial pressure.

Dheeraj said his film Summer Holidays was planned for an October 30 release, and the team had already spent its available budget on publicity. With the release plans changing around Venkatesh and Trivikram’s Aadarsha Kutumbam, he says he now needs to arrange money for another week of promotions.

He pointed out that big films have the luxury of announcing their release dates just days in advance and still attracting audiences. Small films, however, cannot afford that kind of flexibility.

Dheeraj also revealed that he may have to borrow money again to continue the publicity campaign. His comments highlight the struggles of small and mid-budget producers, who plan their promotions around fixed release dates and limited budgets. When those plans change, the extra publicity costs can become a burden they are not prepared for.
