The trailer of Dhurandhar: The Revenge has reportedly been postponed. The makers were earlier expected to unveil it on March 3, 2026. However, new reports suggest a revised date.
According to multiple media outlets, the trailer may now release on March 6, 2026. The change has sparked speculation among fans. No official clarification has been issued so far.
A report by Bollywood Hungama claimed that the team initially planned to stick to March 3. However, they were later informed about a Chandra Grahan scheduled the same day. Since the launch was planned around noon, it coincided with the eclipse window.
As lunar eclipses are considered inauspicious for new beginnings by many, the team reportedly chose to delay the release. This explanation has gained traction online. It is being seen as a precautionary move.
Another theory points to Aditya Dhar’s perfectionist approach. Industry observers note that he may not release promotional material unless fully satisfied with the final cut. This has added to the delay rumours.
Some social media users have linked the postponement to ongoing geopolitical tensions between Iran and Israel. Given the film’s intense spy thriller backdrop, a few believe the team wanted to avoid sensitive timing.
The grand trailer launch event at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre was also reportedly dropped. The event date reportedly clashed with the India vs England semi final of the ICC T20 World Cup. This may have influenced the scheduling shift.
If reports are accurate, March 6, 2026 is now being viewed as the likely trailer release date. Advance bookings across India are expected to open soon after. The film is scheduled for theatrical release on March 19, 2026.
Fans will now have to wait a few more days. Expectations are high for what Aditya Dhar and Ranveer Singh have planned with Dhurandhar: The Revenge.
