Well, the writing was on the first on the first day itself, and now it is clear, Mega Powerstar’s Vinaya Vidheya Rama is going to be a disaster. Last Sankranthi, it was the same case with Powerstar’s Agnyaathavasi.
The destination here is the same for both Powerstar and Mega Powerstar, which is a disaster, but the stars are arriving at it in different ways. Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyaathavaasi was a washout in the smaller b and c centres and put up a respectable number in the overseas. In case of Vinaya Vidheya Rama, the opposite is happening with the US being an abomination whereas the single screens in Telugu states taking it forward.
Vinaya Vidheya Rama has been trimmed, but the damage is already done. However, it is still likely to get revenue in the smaller centres throughout the festival period. It goes without saying that the mass entertainer is the biggest debacle in the career of director Boyapati Sreenu.
