The global job market has started to deteriorate every single day and things are not looking promising for the human workforce at this point in time.
As more and more companies start to fire employees at an elevated rate, big companies like Apple, Oracle have started to lead a new wave of layoffs.
Oracle had recently certified more than 21,000 workers globally, and they continued on this path again by firing more than 6000 workers last week. People who had been with the company for more than a decade were also fired in this operation.
This was followed by another round of layoffs at leading companies like Apple and Uber, which had reportedly fired in the vicinity of 200 employees each.
It is extremely shocking to see some of the biggest companies in the world starting to fire employees at such elevated rates. If this is an indication of what is to come, then we could be witnessing peak unemployment and layoffs in the days to follow as well.
Constant upskilling and adequate alternative financial stream creation have become extremely important for the human workforce already and it’ll be more prevalent in the days to follow as well.
