Lokesh Kanagaraj is one of the most promising directors to make a solid impact in the last decade. Right from Maanagaram to Vikram, his films have been loved by the audience. Some have even developed a cult following.
During a recent interview on a prominent YouTube channel, Lokesh was asked about his future plans. Lokesh replied, “I am working on a film with ThalapathyVijay. After this, I will be doing Kaithi 2, the Vikram sequel, and probably a standalone film with Suriya’s Rolex character as well. I am set for the next 10 years.”
If reports are to be believed, then the promo shoot of Thalapathy67 has been done and Vijay joins the Lokesh Kanagaraj Cinematic Universe (LCU), which already comprises Kamal Haasan, Fahadh Faasil, Suriya, Karthi, Vijay Sethupathi, and Sanjay Dutt.
Lokesh’s lineup is indeed pretty exciting and his confidence is something that must be appreciated. But the mightiest have fallen if a project or two goes wrong. So it’s better to be confident but overconfidence might backfire and no one knows what’s in store in the future. So better if he is prepared for everything.
