When someone asks us who do we like more, son or daughter, what would be your answer? Two-film-old successful young director Shiva Nirvana is happy that we the audiences loved both his kids per se his movies.
The sensible director said that his debut movie ‘Ninnu Kori’ is his son and his second film ‘Majili’ is his daughter. So, he can’t choose which one was his favorite. Neither would we be able to choose our favorite between a daughter and a son? Can we?
However, writing-wise, his first film was better and had a taut screenplay with good performances from Nani and Nivetha Thomas, but his second movie has mesmerizing performances of the lead pair, Sam and Chay but a very thin story plot.
Shiva Nirvana was among those few new directors who passed the second film sentiment contrary to the belief that many successful debut directors second outing were a failure. He hopes to do good movies, and we as audiences look forward to such noble attempts, don’t we?
