Prabhas turned a casual conversation with Prashanth Neel into a fun moment, and fans got the update they were waiting for. From a cheeky exchange over Radhe Shyam to making Neel reveal the shooting month of Salaar 2, the interaction had plenty of entertainment.
The conversation took place during a promotional interaction for 418, a horror thriller presented by Prashanth Neel. Prabhas asked Neel why he had presented a film with such a dark theme, joking that it suited the director’s own style of filmmaking. Neel came back with a dig at Prabhas, saying they could not make every film like Radhe Shyam. Prabhas took the punch sportingly and replied, “That was a big punch, wasn’t it! I will deal with you during the Salaar 2 shoot.”
The fun continued when Prabhas asked Neel about his birthday gift. Neel initially said he would give it later. Prabhas then suggested that starting Salaar 2 would be a big gift and pressed the director to reveal when the film would begin shooting.
Neel finally revealed that Salaar 2 would go on floors in June 2027. Prabhas made sure the announcement was clear, asking him to say it properly so everyone would know. A birthday gift turned into a public update, thanks to Prabhas’ insistence.
Titled Salaar: Part 2: Shouryaanga Parvam, the sequel will continue the story of Deva and Varadha, played by Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Neel is currently working on Dragon, starring Jr NTR, before moving on to the next chapter of Salaar.
