Lata Mangeshkar, known as the nightingale of India passed away leaving millions of her fans heartbroken. She was given a royal farewell at her funeral and now discussions are rife about her crores of property.
According to the update, Lata Ji’s properties value around 200 crores. So, who will get that money is the big question now? Generally, it is the kids or the husband who gets the money but Lata Ji was unmarried all her life.
So much is being speculated and some say that her entire property will go to her trust which Lata Ji established in her dad’s name. Some say that the property will be distributed between her three sisters and one brother.
Lata Ji owns a vintage home and a huge bungalow in Peddar Road, Mumbai, which is itself valued in crores. She used to get a royalty for her songs in the amount of 5 crores per year. Lata Jai has been earning from the age of 10 and has amassed massive properties.
Some say that she also has a share in joint properties owned by her noted singer-sister Asha Bhonsle. The news from Mumbai is that Lata Ji’s lawyers are busy taking care of this property aspect and will soon announce who will inherit her massive 200 crore property.
