The theatrical trailer of Vishwak Sen’s Falaknuma Das has arrived with a bang. It packs a solid punch with the dialogues shining the most.
Unlike the teaser which relied on shock value and offered little besides, the trailer does a neat job in getting the balance right. There is the shock value alright, but there is also the content which points towards an engaging narrative. The music also helps the cause.
As few might be aware, Falaknuma Das is a remake of cult Malayalam movie Angamaly Dairies. The original was deeply rooted in its nativity that many thought it would be a bad idea to remake it in another setting. However, the team of Falaknuma Das led by actor-director Vishwak Sen seems to have done a fair job in getting the milieu right. It is a must for engaging with the narrative along with a brilliant ensemble of acting talents. We have to see if things are right or not on the acting count?
