Though a particular scene and role was said to be sacrificed for the length of the movie, initially the makers wanted to rope in big actors like Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt to play the cameo role, revealed Chiranjeevi in an interview.
The two Bollywood stars were okay playing the role. Then, there arose an opinion that the role would be suitable for Ram Charan. However, the father-son sentiment cost the role for Ram Charan as the above-mentioned character kills itself snatching away the sword from Chiru’s hand.
So, the makers felt that it wouldn’t be sentimentally good to have a son killing himself with his father’s sword though Chiru (Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy) wouldn’t be playing the father of the above-said character.
Owing to the lengthy run time, the scene anyway got chopped on the editing table. That means, the makers didn’t choose Ram Charan and they didn’t shoot the scene with a renowned actor either. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have let it get chopped in the first place. What do you think?
