The US premieres of Rajinikanth’s much-awaited movie ‘Kaala’ will happen tonight and ahead of its release, here is good news for Rajinikanth fans. The Karnataka High Court has responded in the favour of the makers of ‘Kaala’ with regard to its release in Karnataka theatres.

‘Kaala‘ makers had sought the police protection for the theatres that choose to release the movie. The High Court ordered the government to provide security from the pro-Kannada activists for those theatres that screen the movie. This is the first win of ‘Kaala’ before the film’s worldwide release.
Even the Karnataka government agreed to the court’s decision but advised the makers saying that it’s better to understand the sentiments of the people of Karnataka who are against the movie’s release because Rajinikanth asked for the formation of Cauvery Management Board. Well, freedom of expression can’t be curbed in the name of sentiments. What say?
