Nandamuri Balakrishna announced that he will be doing the biopic on his father’s life Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao and will be playing the lead role. Immediately, a controversy was picked up and Lakshmi Parvathi entered the space talking with media about the biopic.

She has her reservations on the biopic and threatens to go to court if her character is portrayed in bad light. But, she is ready to give inputs on Sr. NTR’s life for the film. Needless to say, Balayya rejected her offer as he is clear on what part of his father’s life he is going to portray on screen.
The popular opinion is to have Sr. NTR’s rise to stardom in films, his political campaign and finally and his swearing in as Chief Minister in 1983 as the climax. That would do. We have seen the same strategy being followed for MS Dhoni’s biopic in Bollywood. Instead of touching the controversial points, the makers of ‘MS Dhoni’ ended the film with Dhoni’s career best achievement.
If NTR’s biopic is going to follow the same path, all the fuss and the controversy with Lakshmi Parvathi is like ‘all the fuss, for no reason’. Don’t you think so?
