As we all know Gautamiputra Satakarni has announced its release date. The film will be arriving in cinemas on January 12. It means GPS would be the first film to release among the Sankranti films.

But if we observe, Gautamiputra Satakarni seems to be the film with a lot of ground to cover when compared to other films Khaidi No 150 and Shatamanam Bhavati. The Censor work of the film has not yet been completed and there is expected to be some post-production works like color correction etc in last minute. This won’t be a big problem in two Telugu states but when it comes to overseas release, it could lead to problems for premieres.
Both Khaidi No 150 and Shatamanam Bhavati have already started booking the premiere shows theaters with a date confirmed. Gautamiputra Satakarni would have a lot of ground to cover in the last minute via promotions and other means. This is making fans slightly nervous and they have every reason to be as the film is special for their favorite hero and it also has a great buzz in the US.
We hope there are no issues and all films arrive on time. Last Sankranti every film had its chance and performed very well. If the same is repeated again it would start the box office of the year 2017 with a big bang.
