Chiranjeevi recently shared that he had been diagnosed with non-cancerous polyps that had the potential to develop into cancer. Thankfully, due to early tests and timely treatment, he was able to address the issue. This experience has made Chiranjeevi emphasize the importance of early detection and proper treatment in effectively combating cancer.

Star Cancer Hospitals and the Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust have collaborated to hold free cancer screening camps in Telangana. The aim is to detect cancer in patients at an early stage. As part of this initiative, a cancer screening camp specifically for members of the film industry took place at Chiranjeevi Blood Bank on Sunday, July 9.

So far, over 2,000 beneficiaries from 24 different crafts within the industry have registered. This inclusive approach demonstrates Chiranjeevi’s commitment to supporting not just the stars but also the technicians, workers, and other professionals who contribute to the magic of cinema. On Chiranjeevi’s invitation, approximately 600 film journalists also registered for the free cancer screening camp.

To manage the crowds, fixed time slots on different counters have been allotted to the visitors who have come for the cancer screening. Initial tests and physical screenings are also arranged for patients if there are any symptoms. The management has taken extreme care to conduct the event in a very organized way.

Recognizing the importance of reaching a wider population, he plans to expand the free cancer screening camp to the common people of villages in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. This inclusive approach aims to touch the lives of countless individuals who may not have had access to such crucial health services otherwise.
