The other day, the makers of Pushpa 2 dropped the promo of the first song from the album and it opened to a hugely polar talk. The initial reaction from the majority of the netizens is such that the promo is a weak one.
A few are calling out DSP for the seemingly repetitive tune and vibe. While it is obvious that it is too early to talk about the merit of the song, this negative talk is also keeping the film in the news.
Now that there are polar social media posts on this song, it would lay some sort of a platform for the arrival of the song. For what it’s worth, the song has started to make the social media buzz. Even though there are trolls, these will account for very little in the larger scheme of things.
In the case of Pushpa also, the album initially got mixed reviews but the songs later ruled the roost. So whatever talk that is going on will quickly dilute if the song is good, else even if things god south after the arrival, there’s always the scope for a reversal of public perception after the release, as was seen in the first part.
So whatever talk on the song that is going on now, good or bad, will only serve as a free boost to the film by keeping it in discussion.
