The film Guru starring Venkatesh in the lead was initially planned as a Republic Day release. The shooting has been completed accordingly.

However, due to some unknown reason, mostly mistaken as competition with Singam 3, the makers had postponed the release indefinitely. The buzz is that Guru will arrive on April 7 which means it neither gets a holiday advantage nor an open week release as there are films a week before and after. It is making fans wonder if Venky has missed a big chance.
Meanwhile, Manchu Vishnu has lapped the Republic Day holiday and jumped onto that date. His film Luckunnodu will arrive in place of Singam 3 now. Well, luck surely seems to be on Manchu’s side as of now.
