GV Prakash Kumar and Kayadu Lohar are coming with a different kind of film. Their Immortal is gearing up for release on September 4 and the actor has revealed some interesting details about the movie.
GV Prakash says Immortal is a survival thriller involving a 2,000-year-old vampire. The film is said to explore this concept through a survival story rather than making it a regular horror film. He also described it as a new genre attempt for Tamil cinema.
Kayadu Lohar is playing the female lead, while GV Prakash will be seen in the lead role. Mariyappan Chinna has directed the film.
The 2,000-year-old vampire is obviously the biggest attraction here. There has been very little revealed about the actual story so far, so it remains to be seen how this character fits into the survival thriller. Immortal will be in theatres from September 4.
