There had been reports that ‘Kanali’s tickets are sod for a whopping Rs.1000 per ticket in some areas. The prices in some places have soared very high. Now, the Madras High Court had given directive for State government to put a check on the high prices.

So anyone can call to the control room and report if they feel that the theatre owners are selling ‘Kabali’ tickets for high prices. If theatres charge more than the regular fixed ticket prices, one can call 044-23452359 and report the same. A special should be formed to take care of grievances from the audiences regarding ticket pricing.
It is unclear if the directive issued by the court is followed by the government or not but the phone number given is in operation. Nothing is reported against the theatre owners for high ticket pricing. As far as the fans are concerned, they aren’t in any way worried about the excessive ticket charges.
