Recently, cricketer Harbhajan Singh tied the knot with his long term girlfriend after 9 years of courtship. But it seems that the wedding which should have been a joyous occasion has turned into a fertile ground for controversies.

Earlier there had been news of a clash between the news reporters trying to capture the special moments of the baller’s wedding and the bouncers assigned by the cricketer’s family. The incident blew out of proportion until the police had to be called and four bouncers were arrested. This time the controversy is about Harbhajan serving tobacco at his wedding event which some Sikh organisations has filed a complaint against. Apparently, 113 different types of tobacco were served in the high-profile marriage ceremony of the cricketer.
In the sikh religion, consumption of tobacco and alcohol is prohibited and word is that these organisations have even demanded action against the cricketer.
