Hari Hara Veera Mallu marked the return of Pawan Kalyan to the big screens after a gap of nearly two years. However, it hasn’t necessarily been a super positive return for the deputy chief minister into the cinema space. After a decent start with ₹68 crore gross, the film crashed over the weekend, albeit a reasonably good Sunday did a fairly good job. But the Monday revenues have been very low.
In total, the film has reportedly crossed in the range of ₹105 crore till now. Had the film held the momentum after the first day, the weekend revenues must have been pretty positive and significant. But the performance has been going downward and things are not looking very positive now, as this pretty much looks like the final tally of the film.
The actual financial matters are not yet disclosed, considering the fact that the film was in production for a long time and no one has a clear idea of what is spent and what is recovered. One positive thing for Kalyan fans is that they have another huge prospective film coming up in less than two months in the form of OG, and this film is certain to shatter the box.
As for Kalyan, he too would be a relieved man as he is done with this commitment, which has been lingering for a long time now. Considering that he had already completed OG and the worst majority of Ustaad Bhagat Singh, he can return to his loved political space now.
