
A lot is happening around the next big Telugu star film Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu which was scheduled for release on June 11th with U.S. premieres and a June 12th release in Telugu states.
The film now seems to be officially postponed.

Major U.S. chains like Cinemark have already removed the shows that were scheduled for the June 11th premieres.
As we reported earlier today, the film is under huge financial pressure, which appears to be the primary reason behind this last-minute postponement.

The U.S. distributor had opened bookings a few days ago, but the response has been very weak.
The pre-sales so far are hovering around $150K — extremely low for a period film with Pawan Kalyan in the lead clearly indicating nothing is working in the film’s favor.

An official announcement from the producer is expected anytime soon, along with an update on the next possible release date.
Producer A.M. Ratnam has already gone through several hurdles and delays with this film, and now the entire trade is closely watching to see how Hari Hara Veera Mallu will eventually make it to theaters.
