2024 has not been so good for the film industry. However, it seems like the upcoming two years are expected to bring out the best talents and stories to the big screen since release dates are officially confirmed for a lineup of other projects.
The year will start with Ram Charan and Shankar’s first collaboration, Game Changer, on January 25, followed by Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force the next day. The month of February will have one big release, Chhaava.

In March, there would be another Akshay Kumar film arriving in Holi, the title of which remains unknown for now. Towards the end of the month, there is Salman Khan’s Sikandar on Eid-ul-Fitr, which is helmed by A.R. Murugadoss.
Coming to April, The Raja Saab, featuring Prabhas, will hit the big screen on Mahavir Jayanti. There is another film in the same month, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, which has finalized its release on Good Friday.

May Day will witness the release of De De Pyaar De 2. On the other hand, two big films, Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 5 and Kamal Haasan’s Thug Life, will be clashing on Eid al-Adha in June.
A similar competition will happen between Hrithik Roshan’s War 2 and Vivek Agnihotri’s The Delhi Files in August. Then there is Baaghi 4, which is confirmed to arrive on Eid-e-Milad in September.

Kantara Chapter 1 has already locked a release date for Gandhi Jayanti. An untitled film by David Dhawan, featuring Varun Dhawan, will then be released on Dussehra.
The upcoming installment of Maddock Supernatural Universe, Thama, will be released in Diwali.
YRF Spy Universe’s next entry Alpha will then release on Christmas. Moving to 2026, Border 2 is arriving on Republic Day. This will be followed by Love & War on Eid, Ramayana Part 1 on Diwali, and Mahavatar on Christmas.
