The end of year 2015 hit Bollywood with two rather important films, Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani. And when two such popular films come out side by side, competition between the two is bound to be there. What remains to be seen is which of the two films take the trophy of being better at the box office.

What is interesting is that while Dilwale was ahead in the first three days, Bajirao Mastani’s steady pace caught up with Dilwale earning and presently, it is even racing ahead. As for now the collections of Dilwale stand at Rs 142.92 crore while Bajirao Mastani has earned a sum total of Rs 162.35 crore net at the domestic box office.
Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh revealed in an interview that his mother hates that most of his films end with him dying and that he was even reluctant to show her Bajirao Mastani. In his own words, he wants to “survive, live and see a happy ending in which Deepika and I live together happily ever after.”
