Producers and directors moving around hit pair combination is a not new thing for the Tollywood. In 1980s and 1990s, Sobhanbabu-Jayasudha, Chiranjeevi-Radha, Balakrishna-Vijayasanti and other combinations were well received by audience. Majority of their movies are block busters. In fact, there was a gap for such sentiments with the importing of new heroines from North for every new movie. But trend changed again with the audience preferring to see right combination.
After Nitin and Nitya menon gave two blockbusters Ishq and Gundejari Gallantainde, producers of small and medium budget movies are also giving another chance for the pairs which have given hits with their previous movies. Naga Chaitnya-Tamanna tasted success with 100% Love and Tadaakha movies.
Swami Rara pair Nikhil-Swati is doing another film with debutant director Chandu Mondeti. Nikhil has lot of expectations on the movie Responding about Swamti’s combination, he says “It Is always good to act with the same heroine. Timing will be perfect during dialogue delivery and dance movement since we don’t repeat the mistakes made in the fist movie,” he added. Manchu Vishnu who tasted success with Hansika in Denikaina Ready wants to do another film with the cute girl again.
But there is no guarantee that the same pair will taste the success since success depended on many things. For instance Sunil-Isha Chawla pair blessed with Poola Rangadu success but Mr.Pellikoduku is a flop despite the original version Tanu Weds Manu is a big in hit in Bollywood. But sentiment always beneficial for the heroines since they continue to get chances, spreading their career for many years.
