National Capital, New Delhi is always criticized for the increasing unsafe conditions for inhaling air due to air pollution, but our own Hyderabad is not less. According to the data with Telangana State Pollution Control Board, the vehicular pollution, widespread construction and demolition works and the Metro Rail Project is adding to the increase of toxin levels in air of the city making it unfit to inhale.

Shockingly these pollution levels are high in some residential areas than the commercial pockets of the city endangering people’s lives. Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills air is more polluted than the industrial belts in and around Balanagar and Uppal.
While the permissible Particulate Matter limit in Residential areas is 100, areas of Banjara hills, Jubilee hills, Sainikpuri, Paradise have more than that limit. Experts say the rampant sale of adulterated fuel is also one of the biggest reasons for increasing pollution in the city making it one of the most polluted cities in South India.
