Tollywood Hero Nikhil is doing some exemplary work during the Lockdown helping the needy in whatever way he can. Like many who were troubled by the Hyderabad Police since Saturday in the name of Strict Lockdown, Nikhil is also at the receiving end.
He was delivering emergency life-saving medicines from Uppal to KIMS Minister road. In spite of providing the Prescription and patient details, he was stopped and asked to get an epass. He tried doing that nine times but the epass website says the server is down.
“I thought medical emergencies were allowed!!!,” lamented Nikhil. The tweet of the actor invited a lot of flak for the police department. People are asking the department to be empathetic when lives are at stake instead of blindly going by the rule book.
Nikhil currently has two films – 18 Pages and Karthikeya 2. Both the films are in shoot and they got disrupted due to the Lockdown. The shootings will resume as soon as the cases come down.
