Delhi-based actress Taapsee Pannu, who is debuting in Bollywood with the David Dhawan directed ‘Chashme Baddoor’, a remake of 1981 Farooq Shaikh-Deepti Naval classic of the same name, says that, “I couldn’t have expected a better break in the Hindi film industry.”The actress, who started her career in the Southern film industry, is glad to work with renowned actors like Rishi Kapoor, Divyendu Sharma, Ali Zafar, and Siddharth Narayan in this film.

Unlike most of the actors she comes from an engineering background and she revealed that she never wanted to be an actress four years ago and it was due to luck that she landed up doing movies. “My mother has always been passionate about movies and it was she who asked me to try modeling. I only did for fun.”




About her future plans Taapsee stated that signing the second movie is where she will have to put a lot of effort in considering her launch in the South film industry was very good and even for her Bollywood debut “I’m getting the best. I don’t want to settle for anything.”
