Akkineni hero Sumanth has never been as prolific as the other Akkineni heroes like Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya who have regular releases unlike Sumanth. When asked the reason, he said that he would select a script when he likes it and not for the heck of doing films.
He also said that he’ll not do films for fans or when they ask for films. It depends on his discretion while selecting the scripts. Sumanth can’t do mass films as those films aren’t his flair and he wouldn’t be comfortable with larger than life roles in commercial movies.
Though he wasn’t consistent with films earlier taking long gaps in between, Sumanth says that the audiences are going to see him more in the coming days as he has three films, back-to-back.
He is coming with a neo noir thriller film ‘Kapatadhari’ by Pradeep Krishnamoorthy. Let’s wait and see how this film will help Sumanth who picked up a bit after ‘Malli Raava’.
