Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachan and his son actor Abhishek Bachan were seen wrapping themselves with our tricolor national flag during the India-Pakistan world cup match. Amitabh was seen posing to cameras with the tricolor flag covered like a shawl. For some it seemed like insulting our national flag.

One Chetan Dhiman filed a complaint before the judicial magistrate’s court on the megastar and his son for wrapping the national flag in an insulting manner. This is not the first of it’s kind of complaint on celebrities for using the tricolor in an appropriate way.
Earlier in 2007 Aamir Khan was booked for insulting the tricolor and only last year it was Mallika Sherawat who wrapped up our national flag for her film ‘Dirty Politics’ promotional poster. Even star cricketers like Sachin and Dhoni had once been in controversies for using Tricolor in an appropriate manner.
