Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja hasn’t had a proper hit in recent times, so one might expect his upcoming film Irumudi to generate low buzz and below-par advance bookings. However, the reality is quite the opposite. Directed by Shiva Nirvana, the film is carrying exceptional buzz and is witnessing mass numbers in advance sales.
As of now, Irumudi has already crossed the 100K mark in advance ticket sales across the Telugu states. With 72K+ tickets sold on BookMyShow and 38K+ tickets sold through District, the movie has registered 110K+ ticket sales in advance bookings, which is a phenomenal number.
In Hyderabad, nearly all shows are witnessing 100% occupancy or fast-filling status. The response is not limited to urban centres either. Given Ravi Teja’s mass image, coupled with the action, thrills and family emotions promised by the film, Irumudi is also receiving an excellent response in the rural areas.
Amazingly, Irumudi is off to a wonderful start overseas as well. In North America, the movie has already crossed the $225K mark in advance sales and is heading towards the quarter-million-dollar milestone. With such strong advance bookings, Irumudi is expected to deliver Ravi Teja’s biggest opener.
