It is confirmed that Radhika Apte will feature opposite Balakrishna in his upcoming film with Boyapati Srinu. After a long delay, the name of the leading lady was revealed by producer Anil Sunkara on twitter. The instant reaction from fans was mixed as many expected a top heroine to be cast opposite the actor.
Nevertheless, since Radhika has been roped in, one wonders what could her role be. Because going by her work in her films so far, she has mostly appeared in role sans glamour. Will this also be one of such roles or we will get to see her in a performance role like Nayantara did in Simha.
Devi Sri Prasad has been roped in as the composer and one wonders if Balakrishna can still match steps to his ‘mass’ tunes at this age. Are we underestimating the power of Balayya? We have to wait and watch.
