Team RRR, as part of the publicity, is releasing candid video bytes featuring the two stars of the show, Jr NTR and Ram Charan. However, looking at the response, one can’t help but feel if they are a little too late to do it now.
The biggest USP of RRR is the once in a lifetime combination. Coming together of the two of the craziest mass heroes (who also have a rivalry going on cinematically), under the direction of SS Rajamouli, hit the hype through the roofs.
But, the way its publicity has been handled leaves a lot to be desired. Team RRR has commenced its promotional activities recently. There has been a making video followed by the first single, and now they have small candid video bytes featuring the stars.
RRR has been in the making for so long. During the period, there have been multiple instances where the two stars were spotted together. The curiosity to see the stars together was at an all-time high. It can be seen with the responses they got.
Forget the past, even as recently as ten days ago, when Jr NTR and Ram Charan appeared in the music video; there was a considerable buzz.
However, after all the time, when team RRR is doing the same (through candid clips), it is not generating the same buzz anymore. What further makes it worse is the awkwardness at display during the video. It doesn’t add to the curiosity, more so after the grand presentation in the music video.
Here’s hoping team RRR comes up with something unique and grab attention. It might not be necessary for the Telugu audience, but it is a must for the rest.
