There is an assumption about Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming movie ‘Fighter’ that it might belong to the sports genre. Vijay Deverakonda asked in his recent conversation, “Why do you have to limit it to a sports movie? It’s ‘Fighter’. Let’s wait and watch.”
When asked if he likes to choose unconventional roles, Vijay said that he doesn’t think about conventional or unconventional. He just goes by the flow at that moment. “it’s very basic. I wouldn’t put so much thought into it.” One thing is clear, the Deverakonda wants to do epic stuff.
He brands his ‘Fighter’ as his most physical movie as he has been into martial arts training for this particular film. Till they finish the shoot of the film, Vijay will be continuing the martial arts training. So, mostly it’s Thai, but even mixed martial arts.
Working with director Puri, he feels that the man is like a child and has this child-like excitement even for his 37th film. “He writes some epic stuff which makes for mass cheering and unpredictable moments for a hero.” Rightly said!
