To be remade in 5 languages: Ravi’s film going Drishyam

thani-oruvan in 5 languagesWhile Malayalam ‘Drishyam’ had made a unique place in the history of Indian Cinema by being made in five languages without going for dubbing versions because of its universal appeal, seems Tamil director Ravi Raja’s recent release ‘Thani Oruvam’ starring Jayam Ravi and Aravind Swamy in the lead is also traveling on the same lines.

We’ve already heard that Ram Charan was interested to remake it in Telugu. But the makers also are in talks with big names in different film industries. For Kannada remake, it is superstar Puneet Raj Kumar who is evincing interest. For Bollywood, Salman Khan’s production head and decision making team are interested but yet to make a decision.

For Marathi remake, our cute Genelia is interested, and a leading production house is coming on board for Bengali remake. To be made in five languages isn’t something common. Only few films get that opportunity and ‘Thani Oruvam’ seems to be one of them.
