Jeans actor jumps into Akshay Kumar shoes

Tamil actor Prasanth who is mostly remembered for the Shankar extravaganza Jeans in Telugu is confirmed to step into the shoes of Akshay Kumar for the South Indian remake of Special 26.

The news was confirmed by the producer and director of the film Thiagarajan. He has bought the remake rights of the film from the original producers in Hindi and after maintaining suspense over the director for some time he has revealed that he would be directing it. The film will be simultaneously remade in four South Indian languages according to him.

Prasanth has been trying in vain for a big comeback for a long time but he has been unsuccessful so far. Let’s see if his father can give him the break this time after all the years of waiting.
