Jr NTR will undergo shoulder surgery tomorrow, August 12, at KIMS Hospitals in Hyderabad. His team officially confirmed the development through a statement issued from the actor’s office on Tuesday.
According to the statement, the surgery was scheduled after a medical evaluation of NTR’s shoulder injury. Doctors are now working towards ensuring a smooth recovery.
NTR’s team also said that further updates on his condition will be provided after the surgery and thanked fans for their continued support and understanding.
The actor has been away from regular work in recent days after reportedly suffering the injury during the shooting of Dragon. Despite the problem, NTR had continued shooting for some time with his arm in a sling.
The latest development indicates that the injury requires surgical treatment, forcing the actor to take a break from his busy shooting schedule. NTR was also seen arriving at the hospital wearing a black-and-white checked shirt, with his arm supported by a brace.
