The conspicuous silence of the Telugu film heroines has been a point to debate on social media platforms while many of their male counterparts had been donating big. Kajal Aggarwal will be the first heroine to up stop to this debate.
She is the first heroine to donate in cash for the fight against the crisis. She donated 2 lakhs to FEFSI (The Film Employees Federation of South India), 2 lakhs to charity Telugu Film Industry and 1 lakh to Maharashtra CM’s Relief Fund.
Besides these donations, the actress has been actively helping with food and grains in her residential area. Apart from donating 1 lakh rupees, heroine Lavanya Tripathi has also been doing her part making masks along with a Hyderabad-based designer.
The masks are sold minimum prices and the money is used to pay the workers ho have been working from home. Hope, other actresses would also come up with something useful and hence, set a model for others to come forward to offer their services.
